A custom home in Smithfield, start to finish
A single-level custom home on an open lot in Smithfield. Our crew took it from the first wall panel to the finished exterior and interior trim, self-performing the framing, the timber entry, the dry-in, the siding, and the finish carpentry.

What we did, and why it matters
The owners came to us with a plan for a single-level home on an open lot in Smithfield and one clear ask: they wanted the people who bid the house to be the people who built it. That is how we work anyway, so it was an easy yes.
We started on the slab with the wall framing, set the roof trusses, and had the house dried in and wrapped before the weather turned. The timber entry gable was cut and set by our crew, not ordered as a kit, and it is the detail people notice first when they pull up. Windows and exterior doors went in and were flashed properly while the walls were open, which is the part of a build nobody sees and everybody depends on.
The exterior is board-and-batten siding. Inside, we hung the doors, ran the casing and baseboard, and finished the trim, so the reveals line up and the doors close the way they should. The handful of trades we did not self-perform, we brought in and managed, so the owners never had to.
Along the way the owners had questions, as anyone building a home does. We answered them on site, showed the options, and let them decide. Every change was priced before it was built, and the schedule was talked through every week. That is the part of a build that decides whether people would do it again with you, and we treat it that way.
