Commercial Work

Commercial work from a crew that builds houses

Tenant improvements, window packages, framing, and the kind of timber and finish carpentry that makes a building memorable. We take small and mid-size commercial projects across Cache Valley, and we self-perform the work, so the finish matches what you see on our homes.

What we take on

Commercial work that fits a self-performing crew

We are not a big general contractor with a bench of subs. We are three builders who do the work ourselves. That is a real advantage on projects like these.

Tenant improvements and build-outs

Turning a shell or a tired space into offices, a shop, a studio, or a clinic: framing, doors, finishes, and the details a customer notices.

Window packages

Full window installation on new or existing commercial buildings, flashed and sealed to handle a Cache Valley winter.

Framing and structural

Wood framing, headers and beams, and structural repairs, sized to the load and inspected along the way.

Timber-frame and finish carpentry

Exposed trusses, timber entries, stairs, railings, wood ceilings, and trim. The work that makes a lobby or a lodge feel built rather than assembled.

Small commercial builds and additions

Single-building projects, additions to an existing business, and outbuildings, from foundation coordination through the finished exterior.

Accessibility for businesses

Ramps, no-step entries, wider doors, and accessible restrooms, done so the building works for every customer and passes inspection.

A full window installation on a steel-truss building, then an interior of exposed timber trusses, stone, and a spiral stair. The kind of project where the carpentry is the point.

Straight talk

We are a small crew. Here is what that means for you.

We would rather tell you up front what fits us than take a job we cannot do well. Most of the time, the answer is yes.

A good fit

  • Single-building projects and phased work on an occupied building
  • Owners who want one point of contact and the same people on site every day
  • Projects where the carpentry, the windows, or the finish quality matters
  • Work scheduled around your business hours
  • Church, farm, shop, office, retail, and hospitality buildings across Cache Valley

Probably not us

  • Multi-story ground-up commercial construction
  • Projects that need a large crew on site to hit a tight schedule
  • Work that is mostly specialty trades we do not perform, such as large mechanical or electrical scopes
  • If it is one of these, we will say so on the first call and, when we can, point you to someone who fits
Questions

Commercial work, answered

Are you licensed for commercial work?
Yes. Corbridge Construction is a licensed and insured Utah general contractor, Utah Contractor License #14294523-5501, and licensed and insured in Idaho for our Preston and Franklin work. We will show you proof before anything starts.
Can you work around my business hours?
Usually, yes. On occupied buildings we plan the noisy and dusty work for early mornings, evenings, or days you are closed, and we keep the site contained so you can keep operating.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. Commercial permits and inspections run through us, the same as on a home. We pull the permit, schedule the inspections, and meet the inspector.
How do you price a commercial job?
The same way we price everything: we come look at the building, then give you a written, itemized estimate so you can see where every dollar goes. Here is how our estimate and bid process works.
Is my project too small, or too big?
Too small is rare. A single window package, a run of framing, or one finished office is a normal job for us. Too big is possible, and we will say so up front rather than stretch a three-person crew past what it can do well.
