Siding Installation in Cache Valley

Siding is the part of your home that takes the beating

Cache Valley siding lives through driven snow, freeze and thaw, wind off open fields, and a summer sun that fades anything cheap. When siding fails, the damage rarely stops at the surface. Water gets to sheathing and framing, and a cosmetic problem quietly becomes a structural one. We replace siding properly, starting with what is behind it.

Investment

What drives the cost

These are the factors you will see itemized in your estimate.

How much wall area

Square footage of wall, plus gables, dormers, and anything that adds cuts.

Material

Vinyl, engineered wood, fiber cement, and stone sit at very different price points.

What is underneath

If sheathing or framing has rot, that repair happens before siding and affects the number.

Height and access

Two-story walls, steep grades, and tight lots all add staging time.

Doing it right

Why it is worth doing right

Water is the real enemy

Siding is a rain screen, not a seal. Done correctly, water that gets behind it drains and dries. Done badly, it sits against your sheathing.

The trim tells the truth

Corners, window returns, and soffit transitions are where rushed siding jobs fall apart. We are trim carpenters first.

It changes the whole house

Siding is the single biggest visual change you can make to an exterior, and the one buyers notice from the street.

★★★★★

“They did the bid, scheduled, and completed my job in under a week. The work is high quality, and best of all, they came in under bid.”

Questions homeowners ask

How long does a siding job take?
It depends on the size of the home, the material, and what we find underneath, and you get a real schedule before we start. We give you a realistic window before we start.
Can you side just one part of my house?
Yes. Gable ends, a single elevation, or an addition that needs to match. Matching existing siding is not always possible, and we will tell you honestly before you commit.
Do you replace the wrap and flashing too?
Always, on a full replacement. Putting new siding over a failed weather barrier is the most common corner cut in this trade, and it guarantees the problem comes back.
What if you find rot behind the old siding?
We stop, show you, and price the repair before continuing. Older Cache Valley homes fairly often have some, especially below windows.
Do you do siding in the winter?
Yes. Cold does affect some materials and we plan around hard freezes, but exterior work here does not stop for the season.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Utah Contractor License #14294523-5501, licensed and insured in Utah and Idaho, and every siding job carries a 1-year workmanship warranty.
