A basement finished from bare concrete to family space
An unfinished basement turned into a long family room, bedrooms with real closets, and hallways that feel like the rest of the house. Framing, insulation, drywall, doors, trim, paint, and carpet, finished by our crew and inspected along the way.

What we did, and why it matters
The downstairs of this home was the usual story: a concrete floor, exposed joists, and a lot of square footage doing nothing. The owners wanted a big room the whole family could spread out in, plus bedrooms that would count as bedrooms when it came time to sell.
We walked the space with them first and laid the rooms out around what was already there: the windows, the mechanical room, and where the plumbing could go. Then we framed the walls, ran the electrical and lighting, insulated, and closed it in with drywall. The family room runs the length of the house, with the ceiling wired and ready for a projector. The bedrooms got full closets with double doors, and every room got the same doors, casing, and baseboard as the floor above, so nothing about it says basement.
A basement finish is permitted work, and this one was inspected at framing, electrical, insulation, and final. We pulled the permit and met the inspectors, so the owners never had to take a morning off for it.
There were plenty of decisions along the way, from closet layouts to where the outlets should land. Our job was to lay out the options honestly and let the owners choose without pressure. Their review below says how that went, in their words.

“We had an amazing experience with Corbridge Construction finishing our basement. They did an incredible job from start to finish, and the quality of their work really exceeded our expectations. Everything was done with great attention to detail, and the finished basement looks fantastic. They were great to offer suggestions and alternate options for various details on the project while still allowing us to make the decisions without any pressure. They were professional, dependable, and easy to work with throughout the entire project. We really appreciated their craftsmanship and the pride they took in their work.”
